The Lefty’s Guide – How to Argue Against a Right Wing Fascist

There’s controversy over the ABC’s screening of the excellent Channel 4 documentary, “The Great Global Warming Swindle”

So interesting how the left, the entrenched forces at the ABC and the environazis are screaming blue bloody murder over the possible screening of “The Great Global Warming Swindle”. They are ropeable. Angry. Trying to claim it’s some weird conspiracy. That it’s nothing more than propaganda.

On the other hand, if the show IS propaganda, if it is so disposable, then why get all upset about it? Why have this attempt to shut the debate down?

Because the left “intelligentsia” are incapable of debate, of an open expression of ideas. they are incapable of a form of communication where there are two sides, both expressing open opposition to each other’s thoughts.

They want to shut it down. NOW. They want to discredit. They want to play the man, not the ball.

They betray intelligent discourse in Australia, they betray themselves. They should be ashamed of themselves.

So here it is, a how to guide…

How to Engage in Contemporary Leftist Debate in Australia (aka How to Argue Against a Right Wing Fascist):

  • ISSUE RAISED BY THE LEFT
  • ISSUE REFUTED BY THE RIGHT BY RAISING FACTS OR OPINIONS IN OPPOSITION
  • LEFT RESPONDS BY ATTACKING THE SPOKESPEOPLE (AS LUNATICS AND EXTREME RIGHT WINGERS, eg: “Dr blah, who has been associated with the extreme right organisation linked to the extermination of xxx, the xyz, claimed that…”)
  • RIGHT RAISES MORE FACTS OR OPINIONS
  • LEFT ATTACKS THE SPOKESPEOPLE (ON BASIS OF THEIR WEALTH/JOB/FUNDING, FREQUENCY OF CHURCH VISITATION OR HISTORY OF HAVING HAD A DISCUSSION WITH THE PM/JANET ALBRECHTSEN/ANDREW BOLT/KEITH WINDSCHUTTLE) AND CLAIMS THAT THE RIGHT’S COMMENTS/SPEECH/DEBATE/PUBLIC RADIO BROADCAST SHOULD BE “SHUT DOWN”
  • RIGHT PRESENTS EXTREMELY CREDIBLE EVIDENCE WHICH BACKS UP THEIR ARGUMENT
  • LEFT ATTEMPTS TO ERODE THEIR CREDIBILITY BY ATTACHING THEM TO UNREALISTIC COMMENTS OR SCENARIOS (“This is like denying the holocaust”/”He must hate Aborigines to say that”/”Next she’ll be telling us Saddam Hussein flew the planes into the World Trade Centre himself”)

      Question: How do you stop a leftist-bongwater-drinking-John-Butler-Trio-listening-matted-dreadlock-haired-urine-throwing-protester-hippie from furthering discourse and dispersing?

      Answer: Death metal. Just crank the Slayer or I don’t know…Rammstein to 11 and watch the foul fuckers disperse. It’s all in South Park people.

      Notice how Gore charges $ to see his film and the swindle film is free?!?!? If the ‘future of world’ is at stake, shouldn’t Gore put it online for all to see for free, instead of getting people to get into cars and drive to cinemas all over the joint?! Same with Tim Flannery printing forests of paper books – if it’s urgent, just put it on the web, for free, for all to see..

      Gore’s family fortune is from tobacco and oil, his mentor was Armand Hammer who was a Commie rat spy (who Reagan shut down).
