Jeff Goldblum is alive. Richard Wilkins had time to find the false report of his death, get his producers to compile a heap of clippings, but didn’t think to verify the report by calling the “New Zealand Police”. Instead, it seems he relied on Twitter. Colbert went to town on him, rightly so.
